Pirate Treasure Hunt, London Wetland Centre

Get outside this May half term and help Captain Blackbird find his missing treasure at the London Wetland Centre

Pirate Treasure Hunt, London Wetland Centre
We're head over heels in love with the London Wetland Centre. Nestled away in leafy Barns, with its land-loving birds from around the world bobbing happily on the ponds and two friendly otters nipping in and out of their watery habitat, it's like a day zoo, but with space for little ones to run around.

This May half term, the Wetland Centre is hosting a Pirate Treasure Hunt. Captain Blackbird has had his precious treasure stollen by his 'motley animal crew', who have hidden it around the Centre.

Not all is lost, however, as Polly the faithful parakeet has spotted which direction they went in. Families hunt down a sleek fox, elusive water vole, cheeky otter and the rest of the mutinous crew to piece together a map and discover where they've hidden the treasure.

Take this opportunity to get your family outside in the sun and surrounded by animals with a day hunting for treasure. We most recommend dressing up as a pirate for fun.
