Easter Workshops, Polka Theatre

The Polka Theatre is back and better than ever with fun-filled interactive workshops over the Easter holidays. As always, the Wimbledon children's theatre is encouraging kids of all ages to get theatrical and imaginative by participating in their series of creative, theatre-inspired activities.

For the little ones, there's a special chocolate cake hunt based on Michael Rosen's poem, as well as an Easter-themed movement workshop. For the older kids there's a chance to tread the boards and explore performance techniques with actors.

Chocolate Cake Hunt
Wednesday 11 April

This immersive drama and craft workshop allows children to physically explore Michael Rosen's poem about the night-time disappearance of a chocolate cake, which has been adapted into a musical by the Polka Theatre.

Spring into Action!
Thursday 12 April

The Polka Theatre offers children the chance to learn everything from characterisation to physical theatre under the tutelage of professional actors. Aspiring actors will perform before family and friends after this Take Part workshop.

Easter Bunnies in Training, Ages 3 – 4 / Ages 3 – 5
Friday 13 April
10:00 – 11:00 / 11:15 – 12:15



This bouncy Easter-themed movement and drama workshop will put a spring in kids' steps. They'll learn how to be top hoppers as Easter bunnies in training.

One parent and one child admitted per ticket for the ages 3 - 4 workshop. The ages 3 - 5 workshop is for children only.
