The British electronic music scene has always enjoyed a certain underground status. The names of London’s deep house, techno and electro producers haven't made it into the charts or consciousness of the MTV generation. For better or for worse Disclosure has been a major exception to this rule, securing two consecutive top ten singles before soaring straight into number one with their debut album Settle. Now they’ve been nominated for this year’s Mercury Prize. Did we mention that they're 19 and 21?

Such success may have lost them their former Dalston/ Shoreditch support, but it has now synced them to the iPods of thousands of people, the world over. Their garage revivalist, UK bass sound has now evolved to a unique and instantly recognizable sound; a change which has subsequently altered their live performance. Having previously merely mixed back-to-back, the duo now play a host of live instrumentation, kinetically switching between synths, electronic drums and guitars. Joining the ranks of other electronic live acts such as Mount Kimbie and SBTRKT, Disclosure now play sets of entirely original material, bringing on high profile guest singers like Eliza Doolittle and Jessie Ware spice up their shows. All this, under the auspices of the 10,000 capacity, legendary Alexandra Palace. This won't be your average rave.
