MORE DATES ADDED: The first round sold out in a flash, but the balladeer has added two dates, on sale Monday

The first round of Adele tickets sold out in minutes, of course. But a number of extra dates have been added - on sale Monday 7 December, at 9am.

This November saw Adele return in spectacular fashion. Four years after the release of her last album, the nation’s favourite balladeer came back with her long-awaited follow-up 25. The reception was just as uproarious as we’d expected; Twitter feeds and music desks went into overdrive, and a new record was set for first week sales.

Although it might not be the most surprising of albums, there’s very little doubt about its quality. Adele does what she’s best known for, and she does so to perfection. From mournful intros to thunderous choruses, there are precious few weak points. As ever, her voice is the big draw; she can hold a note like few others. If you want to hear more about the record’s highs and lows (although, let’s be honest, mostly the former), check out our full review here.

These are songs designed to fill stadiums, and that’s just what they’re going to do as Adele embarks on a 2016 European tour. She’s playing a total of four London dates, all at the O2 Arena, on the 15th, 16th, 18th and 19th March. Ticket sales are staggered. General sale starts at 9 a.m. on 4th December, but for members of the singer’s website, advance tickets will be available from 9 a.m. on 1st December. Be sure to get yours while you can; these aren’t the kind of tickets to wait around.
