Sheryl Crow, Royal Albert Hall

Country-Pop legend Sheryl Crow headlines Blues Fest 2014 at The Royal Albert Hall.

Sheryl Crow

Sheryl Crow began her career in the 1980s singing advertising jingles. Since then, she’s become one of the most prolific pop musicians of all time, selling over 50 million albums worldwide and collaborating with artists as varied as The Rolling Stones, Luciano Pavarotti and B.B. King

Now, as part of Blues Fest 2014, she will be performing at London’s Royal Albert Hall on Friday 31 October. Whilst Crowe is best known for making irresistible pop hits, in particular 1994’s ‘All I Wanna Do’ and 1996’s ‘If It Makes You Happy’, hers is a distinctive breed of pop, owing a particularly clear debt to blues and country, most overtly on last year’s album Feels Like Home .

Crow is still a powerful performer, with a vast and surprisingly varied repertoire of songs. Her performance at the Royal Albert Hall is a chance to experience this variety.
