Lovebox 2017 Headliner Announcements, Frank Ocean

Frank Ocean has been announced as Friday's headliner at Lovebox 2017 in London's Victoria Park, his first show in three years

Frank Ocean Lovebox 2017, London Festival Summer
Frank Ocean is to play his first show in three years at Lovebox Festival in London's Victoria Park this July, with rumours of other headline acts swirling online.

The gig on 14 July marks the first announcement of live dates following the release of new album, Blonde. Four years after his debut album, Channel Orange, the new album from the US rapper and singer-songwriter debuted at the top of the charts in both the USA and UK upon release.

Ocean is one of those rare artists to be beloved by many without every being bland or crowd-pleasing. He creates his own sounds, which fuses rap, keyboard mastery and 90s R&B in a breezy, meditative style. The resultant quiet emotional restraint of his music serves to blur the boundaries of racial, musical and sexual stereotypes in the industry. Fans of the artist can expect to hear tracks from the first album, including Thinkin' Bout You, Swim Good and Sweet Life, as well as new music from his most recent album.
