Climate change is bad news. Fact. But a silver lining of the crisis has been bestowed upon some wine regions. Vineyards in England and other emerging wine countries are flourishing under the warmer temperatures and producing, as a result, wines fit to rival the best in the world. The climatic effects are benefiting reputed vineyards too: great vintages from the likes of Burgundy, Barolo, Champagne and Mosel have become more common as a result of the warmer climate.
