Taste Festival: London Food Festival 2016
This June, 'the world’s greatest restaurant festival’ returns to Regent’s Park for four days of fine food, masterclasses, tastings and demonstrations from some of the world’s premier chefs and restaurateurs: Taste is the one food festival that London takes very, very seriously.

What's on at Taste Festival
Star names like Nathan Outlaw and Jose Pizarro will share tips and showcase exciting summer dishes, while over 200 exhibitors – from big names like Fever Tree and Chase to newcomers like The Coconut Collaborative by the founder of Gü – will be showing off their wares.

The centrepiece of every session at the Taste of London restaurant festival will be the AEG Taste Theatre, where top chefs from across the globe will share their current favourites and fresh ideas, as well as surprising each other in the Chef’s Challenge, in which Bjoern Wassmuth, Monica Galetti, Scott Hallsworth and others will challenge each other to create a dish at a moment’s notice, inspired by just one ingredient, revealed ‘on the spot’ in front of the audience. Check out the timetable to see who’ll be sharing the stage together.

Casa
Cocktails
Down at the Casa Havana, Havana Club will teach you how to mix the perfect Havana Mojito. The Wild Kitchen will be showcasing back-to-basics cooking techniques, including fire pits and home-smoking, with live cooking from Vivek Singh and Ben Tish and many more.
At Beaujolais Wines you’ll be able to train your nose with tips from Sarah McCleery, while Laurent-Perrier will be running a champagne tasting masterclass, pairing three of their most distinctive styles with a selection of canapés.

Festival Exhibitors

Is that enough to tempt you? Because there’s plenty more still to be discovered: alongside the major exhibitions, over 200 exhibitors from the world-renowned (like Green & Blacks – check out our list of London's best chocolatiers) to the up-and-coming will be flaunting what they’ve got and showing off their latest creations.

Hidden amid the masses of names are a few real gems: the Drunken Dairy promises to combine ‘two of life’s greatest treats’ – one being ice-cream; you can guess the other.

Taste of London 2016 – dates and times

The exhibition will run in two sessions every day from Thursday–Saturday, with an evening opening on Wednesday, and a Sunday afternoon closing session. Of the many food festivals London sees every summer, Taste of London is definitely the one not to miss.
