The Nordic Yulefest

This Scandinavian pop up in East London is likely to be a treat for eyes, ears and tastebuds. Indulge in traditional Nordic food and enjoy the festivities on offer

The Nordic Yulefest
If you're on the hunt for unique places to eat in London this December then the Old Shoreditch Station has a suitably festive answer. Every weekend from the 6th to the 21st December, you can attend their enchanted Nordic Yulefest, stopping by for either brunch, dinner, or late-night drinks and dancing.
Entering the old station, guests will be led up a candlelit staircase into a Christmas wonderland, filled with silver birch trees, antlers and edible stars. Leading the festivities is Tomte - Scandinavia’s Father Christmas - and head chef of Fika, Daniel Cohan. Each meal comprises four courses, with apple-stuffed hams and home cured gravlax alongside red beetroot and roasted vegetables. To wash down this Nordic feast, there will be specially created cocktails and Gluehwein served from traditional glasses, and alcoholic hot chocolate concoctions for afterwards.
If the intent is to merely to go for dinner, the likelihood is that you'll find yourself staying for the afterparty. With candlelit dancefloor, DJs in evergreen headdresses, and Scandinavian surprises throughout the night, it looks to be a Christmas party to remember.
