Hai Cenato restaurant, Nova Victoria

Jason Atherton's new restaurant at the Nova Victoria complex is his first Italian restaurant in London

Jason Atherton is launching his first Italian restaurant in London
Is there any stopping Jason Atherton? The London chef who won his first Michelin star six months after opening Pollen Street Social in 2011 is poised with the red ribbon again - three months after opening Temple & Sons, his London restaurant celebrating the best of British produce.

This time Atherton has Italian food on his mind, and Hai Cenato (meaning have you had dinner? in Italian) is the chef's first foray into the cuisine. At the helm will be head chef James Brown, formerly of Atherton's Social Eating House. Food will by Italian through a US lens, so expect risotto, pizza and pasta, all served with all the usual pomp and ceremony of an Atherton opening, where what's on the plate is only half the story.

Full details aren't yet released, but we'd be surprised if the restaurant isn't in ode to Italian dining tradition, with modern spins. Picture Italian checkered table cloths and fresh produce hanging from the ceilings, but all in good taste.

Keeping en vogue, there will be a room dedicated to fresh pasta making for guests to be enchanted by, and a offshoot cocktail bar called Drunken Oyster.
