Parisian restaurant Frenchie brings Continental flavours to Covent Garden

Covent Garden: Frenchie restaurant
Post lockdown update:
Frenchie will be re-opening on April 12 and is taking terrace booking.

Restaurant and wine bar Frenchie has been credited with redesigning the Parisian way of eating. With a casual cool vibe and flawless quality food, chef cum owner Gregory Marchand made affordable, bistro-style dining the plate du jour in Paris. When Marchand brought his famed restaurant to London in February 2016, he made waves across the city.

Frenchie, Covent Garden echoes its Parisian counterpart, with simple, generous yet precise dishes heavily influenced by Greg’s experience in kitchens across the world, together with his classical training in Nantes, North West France. A particular highlight is the trademark house-smoked meat and fish, vibrant seasoning and fresh flavours that have won over the Parisians, as well as a vast selection of French cheese. Complementing the food, there's an ever-changing carefully selected wine list, with a focus on artisan Old World wines plus craft beers and a short but seasonal cocktail menu.

Whitewashed walls and exposed brickwork warmed with leather banquettes set the scene here, and there is plenty of space in the open-kitchen style basement for larger parties. Gaining stunning reviews from food critics, and as consistently popular on this side of the Channel as its Parisian counterpart, we suggest booking maintenant!
