The Dorchester and Laurent-Perrier Afternoon Tea and the RHS Chelsea Flower Show

The Dorchester and Laurent-Perrier create an afternoon tea designed to celebrate the Chelsea Flower Show

The Dorchester and Laurent-Perrier Afternoon Tea and the RHS Chelsea Flower Show
Fans of afternoon tea will know that the one at the Dorchester, created by their head pastry chef David Girad, is one of the best in London. Now, it's about to have a seasonal twist, courtesy of a new collaboration with Champagne Laurent-Perrier and the RHS Chelsea Flower Show 2016, being served for a limited time only.

This florally-inspired tea is offering a selection of treats in a new pop-up restaurant which have been especially designed to compliment the Laurent-Perrier champagne. These will include a Roald Dahl-inspired peach mousse, 'The Dorchester and the Giant Peach', a chocolate signature cake that's being called the Garden Basket and the brilliantly need 'Premise Of A Gardener', a sweet flower pot filled with strawberries, lime and white chocolate.

There will, of course, be the usual tea and sandwiches on offer as well, but anyone wanting a spot of light relief after a long day at the flower show would be well advised to book in advance.

£60 per head. Tea reservations are available half-hourly from 3.30pm to 5pm from Tuesday 24th May to Saturday 28th May.
