Dinings SW3, Knightsbridge

Marylebone's much-loved contemporary Japanese restaurant gets a Knightsbridge sibling

Dinings are opening a second restaurant, this time in Knightsbridge
Dinings has been a much-loved Marylebone restaurant for ten years. It began life as a humble Japanese sushi restaurant, but as it became better known, it began to experiment, adding European interpretations to traditional Japanese cuisine. A follow-up restaurant is about to open in Knightsbridge.

Dinings SW3 will continue to fuse Japanese and European flavours in what the restaurant call 'Japanese tapas'. On top of that, the new opening will incorporate a josper grill for cooking larger plates.

Sourcing the freshest ingredients, wherever possible locally, sample tapas dishes on the menu include Scottish salmon with chilli miso, mixed vegetables with kizami wasabi soy and jalapeno mayonnaise, hand dived scallops with yuzu garlic chilli soy, and grilled chilli garlic black cod.

Naturally, there's an extensive range of sushi and sashimi if you'd rather enjoy the classics in a straightforward way, including a generous selection of prime wagyu beef sushi, served with sea salt, sweet soy, truffle salsa and ponzu jelly.

New dishes exclusive to the Knightsbridge branch will make use of the on-site josper oven, and include sweet soy marinated Chilean seabass, and Dover sole with butter soy and wasabi salsa.

There's also an intimate sushi bar, and private dining space on site, making the Knightsbridge restaurant the more versatile of the two.
