Breddos Taqueria Clerkenwell

Tortillas in London, made on a mill imported from Mexico, are coming to Clerkenwell. Breddos Taqueria is the much-awaited permanent opening from street food favourites Breddos Tacos, maestros of the London tacos circuit. It'll serve tacos alongside small plates and larger sharing platters in American-Mexican styles.

The opening is backed by hospitality company Ennismore, who already run The Hoxton Hotel and Notting Hill's intimate restaurant, Egg Break. Breddos Taqueria will be equally informal and will seat 40.

Billed as a "Taco Shack", the opening will also be an experience in modern Mexican dining, with unusual dishes like tlayudas (Mexican tortilla pizzas), braised pig skin and sea urchin tostadas.

It's a graduation for the cooks, who became famous on the Street Feast pop-up circuit.
