Johnston of Elgin Bond Street
Chestnuts, mulled wine and a cashmere jumper fit for a king: Christmas wouldn't be Christmas without it.
Fortunately for Londoners in search of the perfect Christmas presents, the world famous experts of cashmere Johnstons of Elgin are opening their first London flagship store on New Bond Street, in the heart of Mayfair.
Inside the store, which is decorated with Jonstons of Elgin's core values and family heritage in mind (the designer brand has been running since 1787 and boasts the only vertical mill in Scotland), Bond Street visitors will find the best of the Scottish highlands: from the softest womenswear collection including classic roll-collar jumpers, menswear such as countryside inspired tailored jackets for men and tweed coats, and babies clothes, accessories and a homes and interiors range.
If it isn't enough that the British Royal Family rely on them, Johnstons of Elgins work with everyone form Savile Row Tailors Patrick Grant / E. Tautz, and have collaborated with designing giants including Vivienne Westwood and Selfridges, and provide some of the biggest luxury fashion houses with their cloth and knitwear.
Expect to find the best of the Scottish highlands in the heart of London, just in time for Christmas.
