New Adidas advert 2015: brand launch super star campaign featuring David Beckham and Pharrel Williams

Adidas superstar shoes, new advert
The Adidas Superstar shoe is being relaunched. To accompany the new Adidas shoe, an all star campaign has been released. The new Adidas advert features footballer David Beckham, singer Pharrel WIlliams and Rita Ora (amongst other names) answering the question of what being a superstar means to them.
Innovative it is not: In the 90 second film, directed by Karum Huu Do, the cast reveals that being a superstar doesn't mean what you think it does... "If being a superstar is having a stylist", muses Pharrell Williams, "then I am not a superstar".
More interesting perhaps, is that such a line up for the iconic Adidas shoe shows that the brand remains a major player not only in sportswear, but across the cultural spectrum. In general, sportswear continues to occupy a strong position in the high street market, with Puma also investing in celebrity endorsement at the end of last year
For those that are intrigued, you can watch the new Adidas advert below and discover what being a superstar really means.
