New Nike for Liberty Collection 2014 launches at Liberty, London

New designer trainers, Nike X Liberty, available at Liberty, London shop

Liberty
When Woman's Hour held a discussion about the normcore trend it felt as though the movement might finally be killed off. However it seems that the fashion industry cannot get enough of designer trainers. Only yesterday saw the announcement of Mary Katrantzou's partnership with Adidas, and tomorrow sees the launch of Nike X Liberty.
Using the classic Nike range as their canvas, the Nike team have taken prints from Liberty heritage and used them as the main part of the shoe. This collection comes in two colours, black and pink and is spread across the Nike Air Max trainers, the mid sneaker boots, the Lunar Force 1 Sky Hi trainers and the Internationalist mid trainers.
In comparison to the spring / summer collection, this range feels a bit lacklustre: black and grey; maroon and salmon pink.... it's not the most aesthetically stimulating set. However for those that are enamoured by all things novel, or indeed, who thrive on the mix of fashion and comfort, these are probably for you.
This fashion event will take place at Liberty, London on the 1st November. If you can't think of things to do on Halloween, then you can stay up and bag a pair online from midnight on Friday, 31st October
