Barbara Hulanicki in Biba's 60s heyday

Barbara Hulanicki, the legendary  Warsaw-born fashion designer and founder of sixties power brand Biba, is turning her talented hands to design once more with a promising new range of leather handbags.

Joining forces with luxury British bagmaker Liz Cox, Hulanicki will release a range combining her own distinctive spaghetti logo with Liz's expert craftsmanship. And from the woman who brought us the  lavish and atmospheric fashion store that is Biba, we can surely expect something pretty special.

The collection will feature a variety of styles - all in sleek black leather - including models Mini Me and Maxi Me, Producers Foldover, Kings Road Slouch, and Cross Body Club, plus an iPhone necklace thrown in for the more technologically savvy. The range will be available online this month and at selected retailers, including Liz Cox's own shop in Bath.
