Forget Coca Cola or Marks and Spencer: the only logo you'll need this Christmas is D&>. Dolce and Gabbana are taking over Harrods this year with a Christmas market selling exclusive designer items. Head to the fourth floor, which will be transformed into an Italian piazza decked in lights and milling with market stalls.

In the market, you'll find the D&> logo covers everything from designer pool sliders to phone cases. The men behind the brand have even turned themselves into emoji-style icons for your purchasing pleasure, appearing in doll form and swinging from key rings (from £285). You'll be able to buy toys, perfume, suits and dresses, and children's ready to wear. Plus, you can drool over fine jewellery - and look out for the brand's latest make up collections

Always a major tourist attraction, this year the Harrods windows will be decorated in the style of a Sicilian puppet theatre as a tribute to D&>'s heritage. The famous designer duo themselves, Stefano Gabbana and Domenico Dolce, will be rendered in marionette form in the decorations.

The blatant branding on nearly every item sold in the market is guaranteed to appeal to the young and wealthy coming to Harrods for a photo-worthy purchase. It looks set to be over-the-top and sometimes a little tacky – but that's what markets are all about. Dolce and Gabbana are taking over Harrods – and Christmas – with shameless Sicilian swagger.
