Culture Whisper readers are being offered the chance to book one of three exclusive workshops at the hotly anticipated Chanel retrospective, Mademoiselle Privé, opening this October in the Saatchi gallery.

Readers can choose from one of three workshops which invite you to explore the craftsmanship and savoir-faire of the French fashion House on Friday 16th October, from 4:30-5:30pm. Each workshop will be led by experts who have worked within their fields, giving a truly authentic and rare insight into Chanel couture for attendees. These insider and exclusive workshops are completely free and guaranteed to sell out fast.

Lemarié Workshop


Founded in 1880, specialised in feather and flower creations for luxury fashion houses, Lemarié produces handmade flowers, such as CHANEL’s iconic camellias. Lemarié's expertise also encompasses dressmaking in its truly unique workshop where smocking, pleats and ruffles are elaborately handcrafted at the request of the most prestigious houses in fashion.


Lessage Workshop


Lesage has been creating opulent embroidery requiring countless hours of work and exceptional skills for Haute Couture, Ready-to-Wear and accessories since its creation in 1924. The company founded an embroidery school in 1992 that welcomes those who are passionate about embroidery from all over the world. Lesage became part of CHANEL’s Métiers d’art in 2002.
Immerse yourself in the world and develop new skills at this exclusive workshop.

N°5 Oflactive workshop

The iconic scent has tantalised and seduced since its creation in 1919. This workshop allows participants to dissect the nuanced tones of Chanel N°5 and discover the fragrance anew. Discover Gabrielle Chanel’s vision and the creation of CHANEL N°5, from Ernest Beaux, the first house perfumer, to Jacques Polge.
