Goldsmiths' Fair 2015

Delve into the treasure trove of contemporary jewellery and silver at the Goldsmiths' Fair 2015 for one of a kind showstoppers

Goldsmiths' Fair London 2015
Glittering amongst the design events in London this autumn is the splendid Goldsmiths' Fair where a sparkly array of contemporary jewellery and silver is on display.
What is it all about?
The fair is made up of curated displays, exhibitions and a programme of talks which showcase 160 of the best designer and craftsmen from around the world. Original designs which push the boundaries and exquisite quality are the names of the game at this Fair where you can gawp and even lay your hands on some unique pieces.

Contemporary silversmithing is the real showstopper here though, where you'll find home-grown talent alongside international trailblazers from Korea, China and Japan. With striking silver work from candlesticks and cocktail sets to pepper grinders and stylish vases, make sure you don't miss Adi Toch's range of silver vessels on stilts.
Highlights
Julia Peyton-Jones, Serpentine's elegant Co-Director, curates a spectacular showcase which should be your first stop at the Fair. Hand-picked delights from John Donald's exhibition should also be high on your to-do list. This leading British jeweller counted HRH Princess Margaret and HRH Queen Elizabeth the Queen mother amongst his patrons.
Fashion meets Jewellery
From the demure to the downright garish, the Goldsmiths' Fair blends fashion and design with fantastic results. Look out for designer to Hollywood Tom Rucker and his colourful collection of platinum and diamonds, rare stones by Maria Frantzi and even big names like Daphne Krinos, Catherine Hills, Jane Sarginson and Sonia Cheadle.
Talks
There are a number of high-profile talks you should look out for. We recommend British Vogue jewellery editor, Carol Woolton, for a start and Managing Director of royal jeweller Wartski, Geoffrey Munn, to finish.
From modern masterpieces to contemporary twists, the Goldsmiths' Fair celebrates innovative design and its sparkling heritage.
