The John Scott Collection reveals rare British decorative arts in a new design exhibition at Bond Street's Fine Art Society

The seventh and last in a series of Fine Art Society exhibitions which reveal the secret gems hidden away in the John Scott collection, filled with fascinating pieces of British design. The eccentric collector was able to accumulate such a wealth of key pieces thanks to the generosity of the Society in his youth, which let him buy works at £100 weekly instalments. 
Highlights
This final selling show spotlights some spectacular gems in British design which shouldn't be missed, including such as star architect Pugin's designs for the Houses of Parliament in the 1830s and even designer Charles Voysey's side table, best known for his colourful wallpapers. You'll also want to look out for the hidden ceramics, glass and textiles in Scott's collection alongside some stellar furniture and metal work.
