Harvey Nichols Christmas Knot Paper

Harvey Nichols presents a new line of environmentally friendly wrapping paper called knot paper, just in time for Christmas in London

Knot Paper by Janjri Trivedi, Harvey Nichols
Harvey Nichols, London have come up with an ingenious and environmentally friendly way to wrap our Christmas presents this year, with a new line of ‘knot paper’ from innovative Indian designer, Janjri Trivedi.
What is knot paper…
These striking hand-printed wraps, first created by Trivedi in 2003 from the basic concept of the ‘re-wrap’, are made from specially printed Indian textiles which can be used again and again, saving us from the terror of last-minute Christmas eve wrapping. Produced by a disadvantaged co-operative of women in southern India, the 60 x 60 cm fabrics support an environmentally sustainable and socially responsible practice. Knot paper is also made from 100% organic cotton and hand-printed with eco-friendly dyes. All in all, Trivedi’s invention is really only just receiving the praise it should.
Where to go in London to find it…
The organic knot paper can be found lining the delicious Harvey Nichols hampers this Christmas and are also available for purchase on the 5th floor for the reasonable sum of £4.95.
