From their flagship Shoreditch store, masters of design House of Hackney have been waging a lavish war against Scandi minimalism. 2016 has already seen a House of Hackney x William Morris collection that we loved, and now they've teamed up with clothing brand La Coqueta for a new audience: kids.
The collection's inspired by storybooks; wallpaper and dresses are wonderfully patterned with teddybears, jungle animals and palm trees. They're adapted classic patterns such as 'Troop' and 'Palmeral' for children and added two more. For 'Voysey's Garden' and 'Alice in Wonderland', they've delved into the V&A archives and brought Charles Voysey's iconic illustrations to life.
They've got both kids' wardrobes and rooms covered. Smock dresses, bonnets and bibs are available for budding fashionistas. And you can bring the jungle or Alice's Wonderland to the nursery with wallpaper designs, lampshades and cushions. Keen readers will love the Alice in Wonderland prints, and if they've recently been hit by Jungle Book fever, they'll go bananas for the monkey patterns.
