Brighten up your home for spring with an injection of print. Luxury British interiors brand House of Hackney is having the most glamorous of spring cleans – a sample sale of sumptuous fabrics. This clear-out comes as it moves headquarters later this year. For now, though, the print-focused brand has its flagship store in east London, at 131-132 Shoreditch High Street. The sample sale is just two minutes away, on Hackney Road.

This brave design company was founded seven years ago in 2010 by husband and wife team Javvy M Royle and Frieda Gormley. Their dazzling, brash, quirky prints feature on interiors, wallpapers, bone china, lampshades, chairs, rugs and plenty more beautiful items.

Recently they've opened Little House of Hackney, for children's prints and collaborated with the William Morris archives on new fabrics: we especially love the luscious, juicy flowers on the Artemis print.

So this weekend, flick through House of Hackney's stylish interiors and home accessory, bags and "one-of-a-kind" items. Cash and card accepted. Bring your own bag. The £2 entry fee goes to the charity Help Refugees.
