This annual programme of events sees Britain's oldest dance company throw open its doors to the public. Audiences are offered a behind-the-scenes glimpse into the choreographic process as well as the exciting opportunity to get dancing themselves.

Building on the success of the past three years, Rambert Revealed has doubled in size for 2016.

The extended line-up is spread over a fortnight and includes more exciting opportunities than ever before for independent dance practitioners, teachers, students and dance lovers of all ages to engage with the company.

Visitors can look forward to exploring Rambert’s state-of-the-art building; discovering the company’s rich heritage by delving into its extensive archive; previewing upcoming work and developing their own dance practice by participating in workshops and classes.
Highlights include open rehearsals for Ghost Dances as well as the chance to learn choreography from some of Rambert’s classic repertoire, including the high energy, samba-inspired A Linha Curva.

Audience members who are keen to preview new works can experience a variety of pieces from the company’s choreographic platform, including those by new choreography fellow Julie Cunningham.

Professional dancers and choreographers can join workshops and classes structured to advance their technique, artistry and creativity. Meanwhile, we mere mortals are invited to try more general sessions suitable for all abilities.

The expanded series of events for Rambert Revealed 2016 will be held in Rambert’s studios on London’s South Bank and most events need to be booked in advance. See the sidebar for complete listings.

Dance lovers unable to attend events at the studios, will be able to watch a livestream of some of the proceedings.

As well as a class and snatches of new works, Rambert Live will also feature the Rambert debate ‘Looking ahead, what next for contemporary dance?’ and a choreographic platform performance showcasing works by Joss Arnott, Julie Cunningham and Carlos Pons Guerra.
