Rambert, the most protean of all British dance companies, continues its evolution under the directorship of Benoit Swan Pouffer. Fresh from an extensive UK-wide tour of its latest double bill of dance-theatre, Death Trap, the company returns to London to present its latest work, Analogue.

Billed as a site-specific installation, Analogue will premiere in May at Stone Nest, an arts organisation and performance venue that hosts experimental work right in the heart of the West End. It's the product of a collaboration between Rambert and the Canadian-born, LA-based choreographer Jill Johnson. Formerly a principal dancer with Frankfurt Ballet, Johnson is a protégé and 21-year close collaborator of choreographer William Forsythe, whose works she stages across the world; and although we haven't been told anything, really, about the content or format of Analogue, we could perhaps surmise that it will carry something of Forsythe's iconoclastic approach.

Set to an original score by the American singer-songwriter David Poe, with lighting design by Richard Williamson, Analogue is performed by the exciting dancers of Rambert.

Analogue is a co--production between Rambert, Stone Nest and the Southbank Centre.
