Paddington Bear's First Concert, Harmony's Music Club

Paddington is on the podium for his First Concert at St Paul's, Covent Garden
He will be the last to notice, but much-loved bear Paddington is a born performer. So where better than the Actors' Church, St Paul's Covent Garden, for Paddington's First Concert?

The accident-prone arrival from Peru will be entertaining audiences aged 3 to 103 in the company of Harmony's Music Club, a company dedicated to performing the finest music for young ears.

Join Paddington as he goes on another great adventure, through the world of classical music. And join in: there is a workshop before the concert, and the audience is invited to make and bring a musical instrument. Click here for details.

Narrator Alexander Campbell recounts the story of Paddington's trek from Peru, life with the Browns, friendship with Mr Gruber and the sticky mess he gets into when he attends a concert for the first time.

St Paul's, designed in the early 1630s by Inigo Jones, in the heart of the West End, is packed with memorials to actors, including Charlie Chaplin. That great comic actor would surely approve of Paddington's power to make everyone smile.
