Possibly the most underrated of Beethoven’s symphonies, No 7 in A major, concludes the concert, which opens with the Overture Leonora, No 2. Amid dozens of concerts that feature new and neglected music, this evening of pure Beethoven is actually something of a novelty.

General booking opens Saturday 7 May, 9:00.
