After the pizza, Piazzola: lunchtime concerts at the Wallace Collection have food for the soul, from Bach to Villa-Lobos

The Wallace Collection houses some of the greatest masterpieces on international art in Britain, and makes a concert venue of unrivalled elegance.
For a break from the shops or the office, a few steps from Oxford Street, during the last week in July there are free, daily lunchtime concerts by a variety of ensembles.
The summer residency presented by the City Music Foundation begins on 25 July, when Kaleidoscope Saxophone Quartet play an arrangement of the very popular Holberg Suite by Grieg, with music by contemporary composers, including James MacMillan and Paul Patterson, plus Django Bates's My First Scooter.
On 26 July, Andrew Lebedev plays music for guitar by Giulani and Villa-Lobos, and an arrangement for guitar of Bach's Lute Suite No 2.
The Foyle-Stsura Duo on 27 July performs Schubert's Grand Duo sonata for piano and violin, and pieces by Prokofiev and Fauré.
Then it's the turn of that sunniest of composers, Astor Piazzolla, whose Libertango is played by Bartosz Glowackin in a programme of music written or arranged for the accordion by composers including Scarlatti and Arvo Part.
The Gildas Quartet – Christopher Jones, Gemma Sharples (violin), Kay Stephen (viola) and Anna Menzies (cello) – close the week's concerts on 29 July with Haydn's String Quartet No 4 in A major, and Schumann's Piano Quintet in E flat major, with Sholto Kynoch at the piano.
