Chelsea Fringe 2017

Chelsea Fringe festival, one of the best garden shows London has to offer, returns for 2017

Chelsea Fringe Festival 2017
Chelsea Fringe festival is the cooler, younger Chelsea Flower Show. The capital's best alternative garden celebration is back for its sixth year with a wide range of exciting projects and events.

From the launch of London’s first floating pocket park (on the Grand Union Canal, at Merchant Square, Paddington) to art exhibitions, there's something for everyone – from keen gardeners to families with time on their hands. Highlights include Folk & Flower, a night of garden-related folk music with performances from Hazel Askew and Carol Anderson at Oxford House in Bethnal Green, and The Inner Temple Dog Show at Inner Temple's award-winning garden – one of the largest green spaces in the City – with prizes for dogs and owners for the most fashion-forward floral outfits.

The fringe will run over a bank holiday, from 20 May to 4 June. Its schedule is constantly being added to, so check online to keep up to date. With so much of hidden London to see, it would be a shame to miss the city in bloom.
