Ahh, Björk. Is there anyone who can resist her? The Icelandic artist has been thrilling and weirding us out for nearly three decades. She's a visionary, a female Bowie, a folk heroine, a mother, a lover, a fighter. And then there's the music. Straddling pop, electro, rock, trip-hop and classical, she creates sore, soaring anthems, intimate and enormous, with a bleeding heart and a Nordic yearning for land.

Luckily for London, camp Björk are putting on a virtual reality exhibition at Somerset House – as well as a one-off gig at the Royal Albert Hall.

Björk Digital, which is running at Somerset House for two months, is the result of the singer's collaboration with a host of artists and producers. And it's pretty weird. There are immersive films, virtual reality 360-degree goggles, and the opportunity to sit inside Björk's mouth as she sings. Yes really.

We're most excited, though, about her one-off Royal Albert Hall concert on Wednesday 21 September 2016. Björk is seriously stunning live, whether you're a super-fan or not. Luckily for those of us that missed out on tickets, virtual reality is the next best thing.

  • Eneko

It took three years for One Aldwych Hotel to decide on the chef for their flagship restaurant, and they couldn't have made a better choice than in Eneko Axta. With a self-contained chunk of the building all to himself, Eneko's brought an incarnation of his Bilbao restaurant, Azurmed, to London.

Jidori is London’s major yakitori restaurant, a popular type of eatery in Japan where the menu consists of one main dish: chicken skewers. Here you can sample a wide range of these Japanese-style kebabs and more to get a flavour of authentic Japanese street food. The tsukune minced chicken skewer and katsu curry scotch egg are particular favourites of ours.
