Where to source the perfect vintage tees and sweatshirt
Hard to source, a retro tee or sweatshirt is perhaps the one item that it-girls and fashion connoisseurs covet the most.
A runway staple – see Burberry Daniel Lee's 'Not All Roses are red' graphic tee or Jonathan Anderson's Loewe yellow and blue vintage-style sweater – it is the perfect fashion item to rock up our 2023 minimalist wardrobe.
For some a vintage tees, and in particular vintage band t-shirts, are ingrained with nostalgia and are a very personal affair. For others, it is a status symbol reflecting on their sourcing contacts and in-the-know fashion credentials.
And there is also something about the cut and the fabric that make retro tees and sweatshirt specials – that perfect faded black finish.
