Playful humour, impressive puppetry, and catchy songs all feature in this new stage production of How to Hide a Lion, showing from October 2016 at the Polka Theatre.

Based on Helen Stephens’s children’s book and adapted by Peter Glanville, the show tells the adorable story of a little girl, Iris, who befriends a lion escaped from the zoo and must help him find somewhere to hide. The unlikely friendship between the lion and his pint-sized friend is guaranteed to melt the hearts of the children and adults alike.

There will be two productions available to view: one for toddlers, and one targeting young children aged 3 to 6.

So book now and give your little ones the chance to count themselves among the 90,000 children who visit Polka each year. It’s never too early to introduce them to the wonderful world of theatre!
