'Manga' is a Japanese word referring to comics and cartooning, and the comic style developed in 19th century Japan has a long and complex history in earlier Japanese art.
After children have learned the tricks of the magna trade, they will get the opportunity to create their own manga-inspired comics featuring characters from the Museum itself. These can be printed and taken home as mementos.
Admission is free, but places may be limited so signing up at the Samsung Digital Discovery Centre on the day of the session is recommended.
Recommended for children aged 7+
