Having already set up one of the best Notting Hill restaurants, Australian celebrity chef Bill Granger went on to build Granger & Co Clerkenwell, and has now opened his third instalment of the successful restaurant chain, sure to be a welcome addition to a host of exciting new restaurants in King’s Cross – anyone looking for food near King's Cross can hope to find healthy plates aplenty at this the latest Granger & Co. London.
Granger & Co menu
The menu offers up the kind of flavoursome and healthy dishes that people would expect from a restaurant that started out in Sydney, and will serve food all day, catering to people who stop in for a coffee and take away as well as sit down diners. At brunch there will be dishes like ricotta hotcakes (light pancakes made with soft cheese) served with banana and honeycomb butter as well as juices and daily scones, buns, muffins and tray bakes.
Lunch and dinner will include larger dishes with many different international influences such as gochujang (a Korean chilli paste) braised beef shin, charred shallots, spring onion & brown rice as well as equally exotic small plates such as raw tuna and avocado poke (a Hawaiian raw fish salad) with toasted buckwheat, samphire and sesame.
It’s the relaxed atmosphere along with menu full of quality food made from fresh ingredients should make Granger & Co. a welcome addition to the area's growing dining scene. So if you're after food around King's Cross and the surrounding areas, keep Granger & Co on your list of hot new restaurants: we doubt you'll be disappointed.
