On the backstreets of Notting Hill, we've fallen in love with a new secret gem called Native & Co. Set up in December 2014, this quiet design spot in the luxurious west London design district is masterminded by the young duo, Taiwan born Sharon Jo-Yun Hung and British-Japanese Chris Yoshiro Green. What makes Native & Co special are the small touches to their elegant designs, all sourced from small suppliers and local craftsmen in Japan and Taiwan. Hung and Green celebrate their roots and combine simple Taiwanese and Japanese design with an edgier London twist.
We recommend checking out the new Arita Porcelain Collection of delicate ceramic tea cups, patterned rice bowls and plates, and fragile sesame mortars with pestle and lid. Hung and Green embrace the history of the Arita region in Japan which is known for its ancient porcelain craft in this new collection.
If you are looking for something a little off the beaten track in Notting Hill's design centre, this serene new shop is worth checking out for its curious array of Taiwanese specialties and bespoke Japanese artisan products.

For LDF, Native & Co. are highlighting traditional Japanese woodwork with a sparkling new display of carpentry that glimpses the highlights of the shop's homeware selection.
