Following our successful talk with Affordable Art Fair Director, Luci Noel, in March, Culture Whisper is hosting an evening panel discussion with two of this year's spotlit exhibiting artists at the Affordable Art Fair Hampstead.

Kathy Dalwood, Artist, Plaster, edition of 20, 61 x 30cm
After welcome drinks and an opportunity to mingle from 6pm in the Talks Lounge, Culture Whisper's Visual Arts & Design Editor, Lucy Scovell, will kick-off the evening's discussion at 6.45pm with an introduction to ceramicist Mella Shaw and cast sculpture specialist Kathy Dalwood. Together they will explore topics including the techniques and inspirations behind their exhibited works, the new era of their respective mediums, investment possibilities in sculpture today, and other artists that have caught their eye at the Affordable Art Fair Hampstead.

Both Dalwood and Shaw are exhibiting in the Affordable Art Fair's 'Hampstead Hotspots' – a curated display of artist presentations and installations throughout the fair. This year’s display follows a fine art ceramic and cast sculpture theme, featuring selected works from Dalwood's plaster bust collection and Shaw's Crafts Council commissioned work Harvest.
Following the talk, there will be a short Q&A as well as an opportunity to meet the artists. With the purchase of a ticket, guests will also enjoy complimentary access to the Affordable Art Fair Hampstead and a re-entry pass valid for the duration of the fair.
