In Spring 2019 the National Gallery seeks to cast a new light on this overlooked Spanish master. The first Sorolla exhibition in the UK for over a century presents portraits, landscapes, garden views, bather scenes, and genre paintings of Spanish life for which the artist is best known. Featuring more than 60 paintings, collated from public and private collections around the world, Sorolla: Spanish Master of Light offers a rare opportunity to marvel at the greatest collection of Sorolla works outside of Spain.
