The show will be simulcast with the US, which means that when season two airs on HBO on Sunday nights it will be being broadcast in the UK at 2am early Monday. Don't worry though, it's bound to be on again at 9pm on Monday evening so that we Brits can both enjoy the show and hold down jobs.
A tantalising new trailer has also been released. Accompanied by a piano cover of Kanye West's Runaway, bulls are seeing careering through the Westworld labs, exposing their metallic, robotic interiors. Thandie Newton's Maeve Millay is seen stepping freely over the glass fragments that cascade as bodies fly through walls as Dolores' commentary washes over them all: 'this is your world... we can burn this world to the ground and from the ashes build a new world.'
Spending money on a Super Bowl advert suggests that HBO is hoping to make Westoworld it's next major show once Game of Thrones concludes in 2019. For that, the new season's creators Jonathan Nolan and Lisa Joy have hinted that the drama contains not one, not two, but six 'parks' (alternative worlds) in total.
Season one revealed the existance of a 'Samurai World' – as it's come to be known in the fan community – but there are plenty more to discover. How many of these we'll get to see in season two will be discovered come April.
