'Something always survives'... especially if it's a popular supernatural mystery series with a load of fans. Netflix has released a tantalising new teaser trailer announcing the second part of the creepy series: The OA.

The first season of Brit Marling and Zal Batmanglij's show came out, unannounced, in December. Starring Brit Marling, The OA followed the story of a blind twenty-something Prairie Johnson who returned to her home community, having been missing for seven years, with her sight miraculously restored.

Some declared Prairie a miracle, others a dangerous mystery. She refused to talk about her missing years with anyone except for four teenage boys. The series blurred the lines between life and death, dragging us off into parallel realities filled with angels, nightmares and endless layers of storytelling.

There's not a lot of information available yet (have a look at the trailer, you'll see what we mean). The teaser offers little more than smoke and oil, a fleeting image of a bridge and the breathing of someone in trouble.... season two is on the horizon.

What members say

A good show actually. Can't say it's the best one, but definitely worth watching, despite of complicated storytelling.
