On 11 September, Hustvedt will discuss her most recent release, a collection of essays entitled A Woman Looking at Men Looking at Women. These essays examine ideas about the mind, sex, and art from a feminist perspective, and draw influence from the arts and the sciences.

Described in reviews as 'essays that bridge the two cultures [of the sciences and the humanities] with intelligence, humour and imagination', and 'an impressive collection', the book was celebrated not only for its prose but also its ambitious subject matter.

Tickets to this event cost £10, and entitle the holder to 20% off of Hustvedt’s books, and a complementary glass of wine.
