This talk takes us behind the scenes of recent cinema history to explore the dynamics of Creative Collaboration. Having worked together for over thirty years on films including Fame, Angela's Ashes and Midnight Express, cinematographer Michael Seresin and director Alan Parker are among the most successful creative partnerships. At SohoCreate Festival 2015 the pair will reflect on the challenges and benefits of working collaboration and the ways in which compromise and a shared vision can boost creative output.

With an impressive haul of almost 40 Baftas, Golden Globes and Oscars to his name, Sir Alan Parker is cinema royalty. The writer, director and producer has brought us iconic musicals (Bugsy Malone, Evita) and poignant dramas such as Shoot the Moon. Parker will be in conversation with New Zealand cinematographer and regular collaborator Michael Seresin about the process of working together to create blockbusters.
