After treading the boards as Clarence Darrow, Kevin Spacey will give a live talk in the Old Vic Theatre. The world famous actor will reflect on his time as Old Vic Artistic Director from 2004 to 2014. Already a household name thanks to a sparkling Hollywood career and two Oscars (The Usual Suspects, American Beauty) Kevin Spacey recently won a Golden Globe for his searing performance as Frank Underwood in the biggest success story for Netflix, House of Cards (season three released on February 27th, 2015).

With tickets to the Clarence Darrow proving as hot (and hard to get hold of) as Cumberbatch's Hamlet, be ready to book fast for this rare chance to see a screen icon up close.

Booking opens on Wednesday 4 February at 12 noon.

  • ABOUT THE OLD VIC

Founded in 1818, the Old Vic has a rich history. But by the time Kevin Spacey took over as artistic director, the old place had reached crisis point, with plans to sell the place and turn it into a theme pub or a bingo hall.

Thanks to his leadership the former home of the National Theatre has reclaimed its reputation for top-flight theatre, staging a mixture of old and new plays - and always managing to attract the best actors around.
