Part memoir, part love letter to the city, and part lament for the London we have lost, The Last London is the culmination of Sinclair’s attempts to document the magic of the capital. He has embarked upon a number of ambitious walks and documented his exploration from the very centre of the city to its furthest outskirts.

The work has been described in reviews as 'Sinclair's masterpiece', and as such expectations are high for its release in September. The Last London looks set to shift the ways in which we think about London and its boundaries, and provide some fascinating tales from hidden parts of the city.

Join this conversation between two prolific authors on 10 October for a thought-provoking evening, and a consideration of the ways in which London has evolved and transformed, and what it is that makes the city so thought-provoking for Sinclair.

If you're unable to make it to this event but would still love to hear Sinclair talk, he will also be discussing The Last London at Waterstones Tottenham Court Road on 12 October.
