Things to do in London this weekend: 14 - 16 May
Lockdown is lifting and outdoor entertainment has returned.
From the Michelin-starred chef opening a London farm shop to an outdoor art trail and designer car boot sale, here's what not to miss this weekend
Inspired by the Japanese art of Shinrin-yoku, forest bathing – whereby you walk mindfully through nature, breathing deeply and observing the trees surrounding you – is a growing wellness trend in the UK. Kew Gardens is currently offering experiences in the practice in partnership with the Forest Bathing Institute. Small groups are led on a slow, sensory woodland walk, while an expert guide encourages you to calm body and mind, and disconnect from the stresses of everyday life. The walks are designed to fuel a deeper relaxation and even improve sleep.
