Clerkenwell clubhouse Bourne & Hollingsworth has quite literally gone up a notch, having opened a new rooftop outpost in the West End. The restaurant, atop Assembly Hotel, offers diners panoramic views of London through floor-to-ceiling windows and the signature cocktails Bourne & Hollingsworth refined in their original basement bar.

The brand’s east London home boasts leafy interiors and spaces full of natural light. The new, central spot, named the Garden Room, features more of the same, with the added bonus of a vista that frames the London Eye, Big Ben and Buckingham Palace. Bourne & Hollingsworth is known for its combination of relaxed décor and sophisticated flavours, which makes for an experience that’s simultaneously luxurious and comfortable.

The view from Bourne & Hollingsworth Garden Room

The Garden Room is a perfect place for a lazy brunch, a cocktail-fuelled catch-up or a stylish dinner date. The menu rotates seasonally, so even if you’re familiar with the Clerkenwell restaurant, it may be high time for another visit.

The Garden Room is taking bookings now, and features a private dining room that can host up to 22 people.
