This summer marks the 50th anniversary of Eric Carle's hit book, The Very Hungry Caterpillar, which we'd wager you've read well over 50 times. To celebrate this milestone, everyone's favourite caterpillar is making his way back onto the stage at Troubadour's White City Theatre this August, bringing three additional, bestselling stories from Eric Carle to life: - Brown Bear, Brown Bear, 10 Little Rubber Ducks and The Very Lonely Firefly.

The Very Hungry Caterpillar Show is puppetry at its most gorgeous and playful, with 75 puppets on stage bringing the characters from Carle's classics to young audiences. The puppets faithfully recreate Eric Carle's charmingly hand-painted illustrations - with over 132 million copies of his books sold around the world, the puppets will have an instant appeal for kids, which makes for an ideal first intro to theatre for your tot.

The Very Hungry Caterpillar Show has been adapted for the stage by Jonathan Rockefeller - and returns to London this summer after stints in the West End in 2016 and 2017, as well as shows in Australia and New York. The production lasts 45 minutes and is suitable for young kids, including babes in arms.

It doesn't need to be Kids' Week to get a good deal on the show: book by June 12 and get band A tix for just £15. At least this sorts you out for one day of the long summer hols...
