November can feel like a horrible time of year when you're in school. Half term is over. The Christmas holidays feel like years away. It's dark and cold and miserable and there's nothing to do.
Except that there is! Children's illustrator Katherina Manolessou is coming to London's beautiful Somerset House and bringing with her a huge basket of vegetables that families can turn into terrifying dinosaurs to take home with them.
Inspired by the new children's book T-Veg, written by Smriti Prasadan-Halls and, of course, illustrated by Katherina Manolessou, families can make their own monsters in between readings, to keep them raawwwwwing with delight.
This free event is a great way for families to get creative together and keep themselves entertained even in the dark and cold November days.
Suitable for children aged 6-12 years, accompanied by an adult.
