Song of the Sea: story
In this ethereal story – animated with rich colours and illustrative flair – join Irish myth and folktale: Song of the Sea tells of a young Irish boy (David Rawle) who, frustrated with his mute sister Saoirse who he blames for his mother's mysterious disappearance, discovers that his sibling is a magical being known as a 'selkie' who can swim in the deep ocean with the seals.
In order to find Saoirse's lost voice whilst attempting to free the spirit world from the spell of a Celtic goddess, the two siblings set off across Ireland and away from their Granny who wants to keep them both safe in the city.
